You will travel to Alexandria and visit the 3rd Century Pompey’s Pillar, a 25 meter red Aswan granite column that is the last of the remaining relics of the Seraphim Temple. Constructed in honor of the Emperor Diocletian, it was once a magnificent structure rivaling the Soma and the Caesareum. Next is Qayetbay citadel, situated on the entrance to Alexandria’s eastern harbor. You will also visit the largest Roman cemetery, the Catacombs consisting of three levels cut in the rock. Finally, you will visit Montazah Palace and its Green Gardens before returning to your hotel.

Overnight to the Mount Sinai and Saint Catherine’s Monastery


Itinerary:

Mount Sinai is an overnight trip that will take you to see this spectacular site. This is where Moses is said to have received the Ten Commandments. Mount Sinai is approximately 2,285 meters high in the Sinai Peninsula and there are over 3950 steps to climb, so we only recommend this to tourists that are in good health and are capable of this very physical activity. If you really don’t want to climb all the steps then there is a camel trail that you can take for a small cost. Arriving at the mountain you start your journey to the top, in time to see the Sunrise, this is breathtaking and you will see it has been worth the effort to climb up there. After the sunrise you will descend the mountain to visit one of the oldest monastery’s in the world saint Catherin’s monastery, The monastery is at the foot of Mount Sinai. Here you will see the Burning Bush and it is a site that is embellished in centuries of history. Included is a visit to the church of St Catherine’s with its many artworks and mosaics. In the library of the monastery there are many many manuscripts and scrolls and even if you are not here for the religious history, you will never experience anything like this in the whole of the world. Many tourists take photographs of the site of the burning bush and the day is filled with centuries of history. Lunch is taken in the restaurant in the area of the Monastery.

FULL DAY IN LUXOR By Sleeping Train


Itinerary:

your day will start with pick up service from your hotel to Giza station where you will experience your sleeping train towards the city of magic and mystery, simply we can say a marvelous day is waiting for you, Our first point to the western bank of the Nile where you can see the Valley of the Kings. Stand in awe of its magnificent and grandiose architecture which was used for burial; there are many kings buried in this valley. The most known tombs are the ones of King Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tutankhamon, Ramesses VI, King Mrenptah and Amenhotep II (you will visit 3 tombs).Then visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was built by Queen Hatshepsut, daughter of Thutmosis I, the only Pharaonic woman who reigned during ancient Egypt. You will stop by the Colossi of Memnon for about 15 minutes, and also at the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. Now we will drive back to the east bank in Luxor, and have lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards, we’ll continue the tour by visiting Karnak Temple, one of the greatest examples of worship structures in history, dedicated to the god Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. End your tour by visiting the Temple Of Luxor. It was built by Amenhotep III in 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom and it was completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty. After the tour ends, you will be taken back to your hotel.
